From previous trips to Greece, I was able to speak a few words and expressions in Greek, but I couldn't write. Grammatically, I lacked any foundation. During the week with Christine and the group, I acquired a small foundation that I can build on. The lessons were intensive; my head was spinning. But we also laughed a lot.

In the afternoons and evenings, we were able to clear our heads and do a lot of things. We went swimming at various beaches every day, went on excursions to the larger towns on the island and hiked through different landscapes. I really enjoyed the delicious Greek food we shared in the tavernas and also prepared ourselves in our studios. It was a very fulfilling time. Many thanks to Christine, who did a great job of organising it, and to the participants, who each contributed in their own way.

You offer exciting and challenging lessons (that leave you wanting more), beautiful and scenic hikes and excursions, time to be, cosy get-togethers over delicious Greek food in the small tavernas, falling asleep to the sound of the sea.....we'd love to come back😊.

We had a great time in Korthi. We had lessons in the morning and went on excursions or hikes in the afternoon. Christine not only showed us the most beautiful places on the island, but also the best restaurants. The evening we danced under the starry sky is unforgettable.
The accommodation was simple but in a dreamlike location – just a stone's throw from the sea.
Christine is a positive, helpful person. She prepared a lot of material for the lessons and the hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. were always very full. We practised writing Greek, studied vocabulary and grammar, played games and solved oral and written tasks.

Although I have been living on Paros for three years, I have been dragging my feet learning Greek.

So I decided to sign up for the Modern Greek course and I have not regretted it.

In a simple and playful way, Christine introduced us to the not-so-simple language and gave us a foundation to start with.

We were also a great group, so it was fun in and out of class.

The beautiful walks remain unforgettable for me, each one different, and Andros has a lot to offer; special stone walls, springs, forests, and above all, there is no rubbish lying around compared to Paros.

Christine's knowledge of good tavernas on the island is of course an advantage. We always ate very well and inexpensively.

Andros is worth a visit.
