Christine Zwicky

I was born and grew up in the canton of Obwalden in Switzerland, but have lived in Athens for 28 years.

I began my career over 30 years ago as a bookseller, and shortly afterwards started teaching foreign languages, first English, then German and modern Greek. Furthermore, I work for the Swiss aid organization networkANTHROPIA, which is committed to helping refugees and homeless people in Greece, and offers lessons in modern Greek and German to adults and children.

For many years I have been teaching people of different ages at various levels, both privately and in small groups of 2-3 participants and in classes with adults or children.

This is a lot of fun for me. I use images and audio material and value oral communication and creativity. It is also really important to me to take special care of each student and to recognize the individual problems that may arise.
